These are a few pieces from some of my favorite artists. They are the inspiration for me as I do my own work. I absolutely love the sense of shape, motion, line, light and contrast that each artist has developed within their work

Light and Truth

This was a piece I did for class interpretting "light" and "truth" and how it can lead us out of the darkness and take away our fears. I love how the drapery worked, especially since I did it completely from my head! (a risky move)

Lunch Break

This was an assignment to illustrate the theme of "work." What better way to show this than a hard working waitress finally taking her lunch break, obviously tired from her shift.

Outside of Old Smith Brothers Market, PG

This was an assignment to paint a cityscape with a figure in it. I took my little sister to Main Street in Pleasant Grove where its charming old-fashioned feel was exactly what I was looking for.
