This was an assignment to paint a cityscape with a figure in it. I took my little sister to Main Street in Pleasant Grove where its charming old-fashioned feel was exactly what I was looking for.

so 1950's looking. i really love the blending techniques used. not too big on the exact terms, but it is just insane!
